A Testimony of Oksana, a volunteer from Ukraine

Here is a short testimony of one of our volunteers in Ukraine who started a Bible club in her village. She is waiting for a computer and printer to print the CSI materials locally. Here is her short testimony: “My name Oksana. I am 35. I got saved with my husband-to-be in 2001 and on the 19th of August we got baptized right after that we got married. We worked in our local church together. I taught in Sunday school and my husband Vasya was a minister. But in 2011 my husband got seriously sick. He had cancer. Though I know our Lord, it was a real tragedy for me. By that time we had 3 children – two boys 10 and 6 years old and a daughter who was only two. During 2011-2012 we had three operations but…our Lord wanted to take him home and my husband died on the 2nd of May 2012.

It was a very difficult time for me but my friends helped me. Now my oldest son is 15. His name is Lyubomyr and he is a student. Mark is 11 and he is a pupil of the 6 grade. Daughter is 7 and her name is Sophia. She is a pupil of the 2nd grade. I brought up my children by myself. I pray for my children so that the Lord would help me to bring them up knowing the Lord. Every year we have a camp. This year we had 200 children in our camp. I am happy that I can tell our village children about our Lord.”
